Falling in love is hopeless hope

I feel like I'm falling and falling and falling in love
You're turned the other way eyes covered, ears plugged
I'm screaming but no sound comes out
I knew you couldnt catch me but I jumped anyways -hoping
I hoped and hoped until the ground came clear and I fell hard
and Bam! I'm hit and hurt and broken inside
I knew what would happen but hope was in the way
always in the way
of rationality.
