I could be dying right now
But you're still not around
I could be shedding millions of tears
Still you wander without a care
Some people would kill to have a Dad
But I would kill to give mines back
In my mind he's dead like the beat of a silent drum
Yet he still comes around like he's actually welcome
Why doesn't he understand that I don't want him around
In my mind he's a dead'beat without a sound
My brother doesn't have a dad
What I wouldn't give to give mine back
I want him gone, out of my life
He would be my sacrifice
Because in my mind he's dead like a beat in the deaf man's ears
Because after all there is no beat because he is never here
