Ride of a life
High school.
A roller coaster.
Buckled in, going whether you’re ready or not
Gradually beginning.
It’s fast,
Up and down,
Emotions all over.
A short ride.
Feeling as if it's the longest ride of your life.
Never wanted it to begin,
Yet never wanting it to end.
Over in a split second
Wishing you could get back in line and do it all over again.
