Woke up at 10:00 this morning,
so I didn't have time to eat breakfast.
"Gotta stop at McDonald's" I said,
"And get something to eat".
So here I am,
on the highway,
going 60 Miles Per Hour.
With a fresh Sausage Egg McMuffin right next to me.
And oh boy, I am starving.
Sweat builds up on my face,
as I feel the heat emanating from the paper bag.
My mouth starts to water,
as I keep repeating: "Just one bite".
My hand pulls itself from the wheel,
and I reach for the bag.
Just when my fingers make contact,
I hear a loud honk,
forcing my hand to return to the wheel,
and swerve my car out of incoming traffic.
I let out a sigh and continue driving.

One time I got really hungry while driving. This is basically the poetic reiteration of that event.
