Inside the pages of this withered book,
Emotions flow like a steady brook,
Some may see things they've never seen,
And though the details aren't very keen,
The words will thunder in your mind,
And in their meaning you will find,
How the river of love truly flows,
But be wary of the thorns on this Rose,
Be true in the things you've sought,
Lest you fall victim to love's evil plot,
Yet still we travel down this deadly path,
And still we feel it's deadly wrath,
For if a true love you've truly found,
Your heart can never again touch the ground,
And the pages of this book will close,
And you'll have trimmed the thorns off your rose.
