Why am I so stubborn?
You are forgiving and understanding
Why is my heart still cold?
You are beautiful and creative
Why am I destructive?
You conquer evil
Why am I still fearing?
I open my soul
and start to listen.
When I stumble and fall
and am defeated there is a whisper
"Get up. Come with me."
When I rise above the obstacles standing before me
and am smiling and laughing
there is again a whisper:
"Take it all in and come with me."
Curious, I begin to ask questions
some serious, some silly
My inquiring continues
until you quiet me and simply reply
"You'll see. Come with me."
