WORK

As he opened the hood of the car

?Hearing ?a screeching sound coming out of the motor

He looked up at the clock 5:30pm

Only an hour and a half left of work

Tick Tock Tick Tock

The time was going by slowly

He just needed to focus on finishing his work then he could get out of here

As he finished checking the engine of the car he looked up at the clock

6:00pm. Only 1 more hour.

You could see the sweat coming down his face from such a long day at work.

He just needed to finish checking the engine of the car a he could leave.

As he finished the last part of checking the engine he was done.

Slamming the hood of the car closed

Locking the car he said goodbye to his co workers.

Getting into his black Honda Pilot.

He drove in home in silence.

Home

Once he arrived at home he walked straight to his garage.

?He walked in to see all his tools

He sees his daughter pulling into the driveway of the house

She pulled her bright blue Honda Civic all the way into the garage

Already knowing that her dad needed to check her car.

Time to change the oil.

Exhausted from his 11 hour shift

He continued working on her daughter's Honda Civic?

Once he was done he knew he could finally go home.

Going inside of his house he greeted his children and wife in the living room.

Walking into the kitchen he noticed his plate of food already made on the table.

He ate quickly

Finish his food and going straight to the shower

Needing to scrub all the black dirt of his arms and hands.

DONE.

He could finally go to bed and relax

Next Day

AGAIN

doing the same thing he did yesterday

Wake up

Eat breakfast

Go to work

?The same thing.

He had to do the same thing

He knew he had to work hard to give his family everything they needed

Getting into his car he puts the key in the ignition

Once he hears his black Honda Pilot rumbling he knew it was time for work

He heads to work with one hand on the steering wheel

The other has a red black hawks coffee cup?

Getting ready for the his long day ahead of him

Repeating the same routine everyday

The author's comments:

I was inspired to write this by a close family member that would work really hard to provide for his family and his children wouldn't appreciate what he did for them. I want people to appreciate what other people do for them.
