Falling in Love for Fall

Outside enjoying my pumpkin-flavored coffee with a book,
I open it to the Fall season in my yearbook,
The cold, windy breeze going on my neck,
Colorful leaves cover the deck,
Carved pumpkins at the Pumpkin Patch,
The candle lit with a match,
Smelling apple pie in my house,
Not realizing I almost step on a mouse,
The pumpkins glowing in the gloomy night,
And a bat taking flight.
