Precipice
A sorceress stood at the periphery of the ocean,
discerning the depths between the levees of her musing
her brain, a muddy ecru, the interruption of earth blurring the visions
her psyche paused, mediating between the edge and the earth
the ethereal begged her toes to inch closer to their abode
her kind are indigenous to these frothing purgatories
but the erroneous opposition, numb to sentiments, beckoned her backwards
within her resilient core, a cataclysm erupted
flirtatious taunts whispered lustfully to her inner demons, coveting their host
but the sole direction to take, she thought, the only way I must go is
existence
