I need to feel like you can see
Exactly what is happening
I need you
Please
Take deep breaths with me
Your eyes speak louder
Than any of your words
It is then that I realize
I know you from before
The blood rushed to your face
As I reached out
Pining for a taste
How does it feel
To feel no pain
Be numbed
Like Novocain?
No
You will never feel this pain
Ignorant bliss
Or harsh reality?
I wish
Oh how I wish
To be like you, darling
I feel the pain like icy stabs
So cold, so cold
I'm the living dead
Help me save me I'm going to freeze
Oh please my darling
Breathe your warmth into me.

The author's comments:
In my mind the poem is a story about a girl that feels depressed (cold)inside. What she doesn't know is that the boy she loves has felt it too but is alright now and for him its okay to be happy (the warmth). "Breathe your warmth into me"-I'm depressed hold me, love me, make me happy.
