Death Can Set Us Free
Our whole life
We wait
We hope
We try
We conquer
And we redeem
Living every day
To fulfill our sole destiny
Every second of our life
We are locked and chained
to mortality
And the one and only thing
That frees us from restrictions
Boundaries
And limitations
Is Death
So sad and feared
But so revered
As we ponder and anxiously wait
For another day to pass
A mystery beyond our concept waits
The mystery of honor and fate
Can only be revealed to us
By fulfilling our life's goals
Peacefully and honorably
And fulfilling what we were destined
To accomplish
Up until our last moments on this beautiful earth
Death burns
Death seers
And death smolders
Our minds and bodies
But in the end
Death
Can set us free
