The Paintball Pain
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Today was a big surprise
I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t seen it with my eyes
Today was my birthday
I could eat anything I wanted even fries
Today Jager and I were going to slay
We were playing paintball and to claim victory was our quest
When all of a sudden something happened I ran out of ammo from my vest
There was one thing to do perish like the rest
While I distracted the other team my platoon would come from the west
For the win I yearned
Butterflies were flying around in my stomach
So I ran at them when all of a sudden I felt a burn
I got shot over twenty times the pain was agonizing
I smelled like a freshly painted wall
It felt like a swarm of bees were attacking me
On me was a blanket of pain my team didn’t seem concerned
I guess they weren’t really analyzing
My squadron took this game as serious as war
We loved the paint puncturing with power
When Jager ran he was as slow as molasses
We won the battle although it felt like forever
That Game I could feel the warrior in me come out
Although the games felt like a century it was fun
During the games I felt like I was hunting my prey
Of course I felt pain too
Even with all those emotions that was a good day
