I smile when you're with me,
But frown when you leave.
The happiness I give you,
Is more than I receive.
You ask me, "How are you?"
And I reply, "Just fine."
Funny how you believe me,
When I completely lied.
It's good that I'm an actress,
So you don't have to see.
The tears that I hold in,
Dont' have to be set free.
You tell me you're happy,
And I know that it's true.
You say, "I'm glad we're friends."
My heart says, "I love you."
