Optimism
Just keep your cool and it will come,
Have a little optimism.
The action you take reflects who you are,
And what you're waiting for is never far.

Life is sometimes like a dream,
Where things are not the way they seem.
He's not so perfect in the end,
But this independent girl needs no time to mend.
The dark gray skies will turn to blue,
The old will suddenly become new.
My locks will all replace themselves
In my house and in my heart.
Your keys no longer work for me,
Prepare to be torn apart.

Burning crosses,
Cut your losses,
Hold your head up high.
Tomorrow is another day,
Never throw it all away
On one pathetic guy.

I may not be the prettiest girl
But I have the biggest heart.
I intend to die with dignity
And I know exactly where to start.
