The Forest of Blade and Pine

Slicing through
The forest pine
Where bog and blade
Somehow entwine

Into branches
Out of vine
Into the forest
Of blade and pine

Racing water
In the air
The jungle dare

Seemingly dull
But needle fine
In the forest
Of blade and pine

The author's comments:
this work was originally submitted as part of a larger collection of poems. I resubmitted it because i noticed that other poetry authors submitted their works one at a time. I have also submitted this work to, which would explain why this would appear to be unoriginal, even though it isn't.
