Mama cass is screamin',
Michelle's hips twist and turn,
as John and Denny sing along to 'California Dreamin.'

Dream a little dream, the stars above you gleamin',
everyday's a holiday when the California sun burns;
as John and Denny sing along to 'California Dreamin.'

Michelle's hair can hypnotize, the blonde streaks are streamin;
such beauty at such a tender age, with so much more to learn.
John and Denny keep singin' on to 'California Dreamin.'

Cass's chestnut hair sparkles in the moonlight, beamin'
as Michelle twirls in the background giving her dress a turn;
as John and Denny sing along to 'California Dreamin.'

The California life is not all that it may seem,
it takes some tough livin' for all that money to earn.
John and Denny keep singin' 'California Dreamin.'

The Harmonies linger in the air, Mama Cass is groovin'
a free spirit flower child doin her thing, keep movin'.
Hold onto that microphone, cause Mama Cass is screamin'
now everybody's singin along to 'California Dreamin.'

The author's comments:
This piece was inspired by the member of the former musical group The Mamas and the Papas. Mama Cass Elliot was one of the best vocalists for her time. May her music transcend into future generations.
