only with you
I never understood the point in marriage
Why would you commit to one person like that
I didn’t get how one person meant so much
People tried to explain to me
Though it never added up
Then you came along
The moment you say hi, I get butterflies
You started to consume all of my thoughts
When asked about my future
All I see is you
I never understood the point in commitment
But then I found myself committed to you
As if it came naturally
It didn’t matter what anyone said
It only mattered when the words came from your mouth
You changed my mind in a blink of an eye
As if you pushed a button and changed everything
All I see is you
I never understood how someone could change you
How one person can mean so much
Maybe you didn’t mean to
But you did
You changed me for the better
I no longer frown upon the thought of commitment
All I see is you
I understand how you could want one person
I get how one person could mean so much
People no longer need to explain it
It all adds up
Back then I didn’t get it
Back then I didn’t have the one
Maybe that's why I didn’t understand
Now I have the one
You are my one and only
I am completely committed to you
I understand the point in marriage
But only with you
