Your heart isn't here nor does it lay in these soundings
It's bright enough to see the color of the rain'

Why do sunflowers sing a song of morning in the darkness?
and watch my frail heart break apart to bleed a form of pain

How come in the stillness of the day there is no smile
no form of love or thoughts to blend into a memory

You're the person I thought would want to stay a while
but all you really do is keep on hurting me'

Why does midnight shine brighter then the sunlight?
and dawn last longer then night itself

Why can't you tell the truth about your presence?
and not lie about the sickness of your health

Why have you pretend to mend your selfish spirit
said that this place was for me and you

Yet you yourself didn't even want to be here
I thought your friendship would've been sincere and new
