I may love you
I know I shouldn't
And I know you don't love me
But each night I ask myself
Can we at least be friends
I know you probably don't care
About what I have to say
But I will say it
And pretend that your listening
Can we at least be friends
I will still love you
I always will
I could never not
But knowing you may hate me
I still find me
Crying myself to sleep
But I will hide my feelings from you
For as long as I want
Just so you wont see my tears
Can we at least be friends
I just want to know
And if not
Please gently let me know
Can we at least be friends
