I loved
I loved,
Him.
I loved when He would laugh.
I loved His warm bear hugs.
I loved when He picked me up from school.
Asking if I had a good day.
I loved when He would make burgers for us.
I loved His white truck, smelling of sawdust and dirt.
I loved when He went hunting…
But what I do not love,
Is that He isn’t here anymore.
