Home Run
The day I hit the dinger
It was the game winner
My coach gave the ball to me
It made me as happy as can be
I hit the ball on the seam
To give a win to the team
Around the bases I flied,
As the other team cried
It took a lot of muscle,
So said my friend Russell
We swept up the other team like a broom,
So I keep the ball in my room
It went over 200 feet
I got the strength from eating some meat
Every time I look at it
I see the other team wanting to quit
The ball is a symbol to me
It made me as happy as I’ll ever be
The ball is a symbol of my victory,
And it will go down in history
