I watch her run
I watch her jump
I hear her play outside.
But here I lie under the bed
way back where I can hide.
I used to be the favorite
the one who'd always play.
But now I've seen my last tea party
now I'm here to stay.

I used to dance
I used to cry.
But now all I do is sigh.
It's hard to live a dolly's life
when your little girl says good- bye.
