My Mother
The giant building
That smells like it’s mildewing
Is the hospital
By God’s grace
Took my mother to a better place
I was there
And the doctor would stare
This was eleven years ago
But I would like to show
What i felt when this happened
My mother in pain
But with a great gain
My new brother was born
But I missed this part
And it was told to me with a heavy heart
The nurse took us
Without a big fuss
When we came back
Everyone was crying
As the doctor told us my mother was dying
