To the nervousness in my mind
The excitement in my heart
Striking people out is my art
Between the letters and the knees
Right down the middle makes me pleased
One more strike
One more out
This is what the games all about
The pop sound as the ball hits the glove
Sounds like sweet music from above
Sixth inning third out
That’s the game lights out
