My Medal
September 29, 2016
I got my Camp Quality medal
September 11th, 2016
walking a 5k.
the sun was shining
and the birds were chirping.
We gathered up on the trail
with my mom and all of our friends
We were walking for Mollie
This was her favorite event
walking for kids battling cancer.
the bright blue sky reminds me of her
The finish line came an hour later.
We got medals
I keep it
as a little piece of her.
My friends and family
appreciate this item
I feel sadness
missing her
but happiness
celebrating her.
This is for Mollie.
