Tears

They say tears show weakness
They see you crying
They say you're weak
They say you're pathetic
They walk right pass you
They don't stop to help
You see a shadow fall across you
A hand reached out to help
You take that hand
Your tears stop coming
"You're strong," you hear
The tears come again
Not tears of pain, but tears of joy
The hand pulls you away from them
You are free of them
