Hollow child, I see you there
Your torn future bleeding
Your hopes and dreams receding
And flowers in your hair

Hollow child, the soldiers came
To try to build your mind
So you'd never strive to find
Out about the truth of war and blame

Hollow child, do you know?
Do you understand my heart?
What you tore apart?
With your soul as white as snow?

Hollow child, even I
As death have fear of your eyes
And even a million little lies
Could not stop what is nigh.

Hollow child, I leave you
Here and weakly bleeding
My strength is now receding
I leave you to tell what's true.

This is inspired by the post-war invasion of Japan by the Americans... Inspired by my Hiroshima project. Soo sad...
