Ponder
Out of curiosity I wonder
If feeling love was ever meant to be
It's of this strange emotion I ponder
What could loving someone possibly mean
I do not believe it is natural
That people should wear their heart on their sleeve
Just look at every other animal
Unlike us, over love they never grieve
Why is it over affection we ache?
We as people should try to consider
Giving up that emotion for our sake
Although our world would be quite bitter
But alas, over love we'll always yearn
'Cause it's from this emotion good we learn
