Destruction

Stop and smell the flowers,
They will not linger long;
Watered by earthly showers,
Shattered by a silver gong.
Humans come and go,
As passing as the fleeting wind.
Eventually there will be no
More man to begin
This destruction that is in progress
And must soon be stopped
Or brought to harness,
Before it is popped.
The humans are a majestic race,
But one that won't find their own space.

I write a lot of poetry on what we are doing to destroy our planet as well. This one has a great flow, I enjoyed it very much.
