She was just 17, and didn’t want to be seen
She was dying inside, but scared of losing her pride
It got so bad, that she didn’t care. She started ignoring her teeth and her hair.
She hid from her parents a new friend she had made.
That friend had a name, it’s name was the blade.
She started drawing on her pretty skin.
The monsters inside, she was letting them win.
She did one one day when she was in school.
She went to the office, thought she had broken a rule.
The office called her parents, and they were upset.
She wasn’t ready to tell them, no, not quite yet.
She was scared of what they’d say, thought they’d push her away.
Finally the truth came out, she was in tears. a
She told them she’d felt like this for years.
They understood, and held on to her tight,
Her mom told her “Honey, it’s gonna be alright.”
A few months went past, she thought her good mood would last.
One day she heard a little voice in her head, telling her, yelling at her, “I want you dead!”
She took her blade and started to draw, everyone else didn’t matter at all.
She drew a little too deep, and fell into a deep sleep.
Mama cried as she buried her baby deep in the ground.
But she knew her child was at peace, not constantly down.
She constantly wondered, “where did i go wrong?”
The answer to this came after not to long.
Her child was tired, fed up with bullies, and lies.
All of this stress, caused her to commit suicide.
So don’t be a bully, Be a friend, be an aid.
Help someone that may not have smiled for days
And don’t you give up either, keep fighting my friend,
One of these days, this wretched war will end <3
