"May the odds be ever in your favor!" The hunger games, by suzanne collins.

We call at the banks and shores at our homes.
We break through water where salt roams.
People say we are just gulls.
Well i'm here to tell you a story that lulls:
There was a twelve year old boy,who was killed at sea.
He too killed a boy,who swam out and grieved.
A century later, still held with grief.
Came a twelve year old boy, named Matt, who could not see.
He could communicate with the spirit, and the spirit knew why.
He was the descendant of the boy who came out to save him,and died.
One day at sea they saw a gull.
And the spirit said they were risen souls.
Soon the boy knew what the spirit was.
He even knew the story of that horrible lust.
He cried cause he knew his friend had to go.
So he went so the same place he died 100 years ago.
The spirit begged Matt to let go.
He knew what to do,he just wished time would slow.
In one minute the hour will turn to twelve.
I forgive you were the words he had to tell.
As he said three sacred words to let him be free.
He heard a gull's cry rang out with pure glee.
The clock strikes twelve with a sad sound.
He knew he was at rest, but not in the ground.
He heard Roly's voice once more in his ear.
But this time he knew he was nowhere near.
"Do you know what they say about the gulls,Matt?,they say their souls, risen souls".

This is my work, but it was inspired by a book named "Into the Dark" by someone Wilde...the name got scratched off.
