A long time ago I saw the most magificient thing.
The place were the women of the bayou danced and sang.
It was filled with many people with their broad,strong stature.
It was just like studying nature.
For many years I studied the women of the bayou.
Fascinated by their eyes and small features that screamed true.
One day I saw them lean to the wind.
As if they had smelled a new scent.
Their eyes got wide and little ones shrieked.
When many men came to speak.
The women of the bayou were smart and brave.
So the land they loved they gave away.
They are welcome to walk on the modified land of today.
But the title of theirs was not a title they could now take.
I look back at those days where they roam free.
As I carve my turkey like their bullying was a specialty.
