Studded belts and a lot of eyeliner,
That's all you see when you look at her.
With black nail polish and body piercings,
In your eyes she is just a blur.

Look at her arms, there are cuts all over,
She does it because she's angry and sad.
Nobody bothers to help her or care.
This thought in her mind makes her even more mad.

Suicide crosses her mind all the time.
As the cuts on her arms gets deeper and deeper.
She feels like she's fighting a war every day,
As the hill she climbs just gets steeper and steeper.

At lunch she is all alone with no food.
People stare and laugh and tease.
She wants someone to be friendly towards her,
And for all her pain to become at ease.

Her mom and dad are never there for her...
School is the best thing in her life,
Even though people make fun of her.
She continuous to cut, now with a knife.

This much pain can take over someone,
And in this situation, it did.
She found a gun in an old shoe closet,
And wrote this note in her last minute to live.

Since nobody cared about my life,
I took it into my own hands.
Most suicide notes say that their sorry,
But why should I sorry for no meeting your demands?'
This teen girl teaches us all so much.
Instead of judging we need to care.
And definitely be more friendly.
And learn to become more aware.
