I Hate Winter

March 2, 2009
By Anonymous

I hate winter
I hate the frosting-covered icicles
on our roof.
I hate the clean fields of powdered sugar.
Their clean slates and blank palettes
hold no interest for me
They hold only
wet socks and
freezing noses.
The only good part of winter is the warmth;
the fires and hot pies
and family
I hate winter
Come, summer, come!

I have never liked winter, so I was just fooling around on a snow day and write this.
