Cries a nation as the impending storm approaches,
Money and security scattered across the economic sea,
Begging for mercy and safety
They turn to the familiarity of the icon,
All decision laid on the economic messiah,
The one man to see the golden course
Promised to the land of liberty,
A people so desperate to believe
That they will put on a collective blindfold,
Cling to the deck,
And ride out the storm without so much as
