Nine years ago
We were only twelve years old
You saw me and I saw you, too.
You told me 'One day we'll be in love for ever ever.'

I laughed and shook my head, saying how you don't know me.
You swore it didn't matter and said
'Baby, that's the key.'

We saw each other every day
Each day you promised the same.
All I did was laugh, not even knowing your name.

Weeks and months flowed through the time
until a year had past.
On that Tuesday, I saw you in a different light
And understood at last.

You walked through the door in the nick of time
I walked up to you and smiled.
A grin pushed over your lips and you said,
'Your what my heart desires.'

And now we're here, still young and in love
Totally and completely in together.
And everyday you hold my hands and tell me
'We'll stay in love forever and ever.'

You kissed my lips
sparks start flaring
We feel daring
And fall in love for
ever and ever.
