The rain beats against my window,
The wind rushes through the trees,
Besides that,
All is quiet.
As I lay in my bed listening,
To the sounds of the storm,
My mind starts to wander,
Around and around,
Going far yet near,
Deep but shallow.
I'm going up,
and up,

I fall.
Where am I?
Oh here in my bed,
All safe and warm,

When is it going to stop?
