Little hands,
reaching up for me.
Blue eyes,
staring into mine.
A smile,
of crooked baby teeth.
Giggling,
as I lift her in the air.
A wiggling child
in my arms held tight.
She whines
as I set her upon her stockinged feet.
Tiny fingers,
grasping my pinky as we sway to the music.
Spinning,
She tumbles into my lap.
Love...
surrounds my niece and me.
