How fleeting are the autumn leaves?
How easy are they torn?
Leaving bare the lifeless trees,
Amongst the forest floor.
Loosing itself to the breeze,
Broken to the core.
So fleeting are the autumn leaves,
There, then not, once more.
How fleeting are we autumn leaves?
How easy are we torn?
Leaving cities by the seas,
And towns beside the shore.
Loosing ourselves to the breeze,
Broken to the core.
So fleeting are we autumn leaves,
There, then not, once more.
