Shadow
The shadow to grow up in is not a nice one.
It is a dark and gloomy shadow that takes over your life.
Every decision of every second is made based on the shadow.
I often wonder if I will ever be good enough – and sometimes I think – never.
I wish the sun would rotate, making me the object that creates the shadow:
Making me the most pertinent thing in reality – but I know that wont happen.
And why not?
Because I always fall short of the expectations granted upon me by those two irreplaceable people: mom and dad.
