a simple word
how could you have known
the end would come now
broken pictures lay
on the cold ground
faces i used to know
now i'm a shadow
in their lies
I run
but it's no use
your power is stonger than mine
you were the angel
among us all
you still chose the way
that leads to death
i stand here
in the pelting rain
watching as you leave me
among these creatures
i don't know how
to get back home
i scream
but you only run harder now
i'm here without you
grace has found me
as i fly here
in the skies without you
