Then and Now

Once upon a time, you'd complain about the headache your brother would give you from running through the house yelling.
A while back, It'd bug you that your siblings loud music, that you couldn't even hear over your very own, was hurting your ears.
Today you have the boy of your dreams. He makes your heart jump into your throat. Why doesn't your own heart beat deafen you? What else is there to do? Is it because of the way he tells you he loves you? I guess I'd get that feeling to.
