Locked Up

Locked up in a cell
no place to go
I dont know what hes thinking
only that he wants to come home
hes paying the price for a horrible crime
if only he wouldnt have carried the dime sack
my hearts racing for the time he'll come back
it wasnt just him
but only him in jail
he tried to get out
but all others failed
he begged and pleaded to be let go
but the only way hes going is oppisite to home
with no warmth and comfort
bars and tears
if only he would of stayed behind
he wouldnt be locked up for years
he thought it was all a joke now hes realizing his fears
not going home to a family that loves him or knows who he really is
he locked up with a baby on the way
his baby mama dont know to walk away or stay she loves him dearly and hates that hes gone but all is said and done for now until a new day dawns...
