What a feeling it is, to be in love
A feeling so pure and overwhelming
Thy presence is warm'I behold, thereof,
A lover'of my heart she is helming

Our love is an hourglass without sand,
For heav'n has never felt so near to me,
As when you stand by me, hand in hand
This moment in life I live happily

Our days are not numbered; we love past death
Though she is beautiful, and I am not,
We live in love, and we savor each breath
But sometimes love can take place without thought

And sadly, part of me withholds a secret
I can see in her eyes sincere regret'
