a word
tossed around casually
losing its color
an old sweatshirt
thrown hastily over the desk chair
run in the washing machine
shrunk in the dryer
losing its flavor
an ice cream cone
licked to exhaustion
cone broken to pieces
thrown in the trash
they say:
BFF
they say:
I will love you forever
they lie.
