Angel
Your wings are so beautiful
So why do you hide,
Such a wonderful piece
Of you deep inside?
I've seen them before
I watched them spread wide
I watched as you soared
Swift as the tide
They used to bring smiles
When you let them go
Let the world envy them
Let the whole world know
In your sadness
You hid them away
Now my angel,
Has fallen astray
My wings are so tattered
Not marveled like you
I can not fix them.
Although I've tried to
Despite how weak
I'll take you high
Until you are better
I'll help you fly
Across every mountain
Over every sea
Though others desert you
You'll always have me
Your wings are so pretty
I wish you could see
The beautiful angel
You're meant to be.
