Withering and rippled
you melt in this fire
built by the childeren
of America's desire
to prove worthy and true
to the honor you hold
the memories within
our spirits you mold
your colors so dear
your burrial ground still
at this memorial here
may our tears you spill
it is the meaning of why
we burn Americas soul
to show graditude and faith
to your people it tolls
the wretch and terror
of the mystery within
will always be present
but its the honor that wins
no matter the place
no matter whos there
we will always be gentle
with your stripes, star's hair
