To Feel Poetry
Poetry is a feeling
Only felt by few
Mistakenly many believe they know the feeling
Yet only few do
Poetry is tragedy,
A death of a soul mate,
A doomed ending to a happily ever after
Poetry is a daydream,
A wish, a desire,
A fairytale, a prince charming,
A supernatural ability
Poetry is a sin
For the greedy who want
Poetry is inspiration,
A 'carpe diem'
Poetry is serendipity,
A feeling of discovery and satisfaction
Poetry is my deepest fears
And my most pleasant memories
Poetry is a life,
A carefree beginning, a midlife crisis,
A miracle and a tragic ending
Poetry is the way we feel and who we are
Poetry is a testament of being
