Going on each day,
Each day a little stronger.
The toll you had to pay,
You wont pay any longer.
The days you spent recovering,
On your bed at home in pain.
Your family wont be suffering,
For a stronger mother they have gained.
Denise you must wear,
An 'S' on your chest.
Superman just can't compare,
To you or the rest.
You may not know,
You may not see.
That you are,
A hero to me.
You fought the fight,
You won the war.
Surviving is what,
I'll remember you for.
The story about,
A crippling disease
And how you never let it,
Bring you down to your knees.

My friend's mom had Breast Cancer. She's a survivor and I thought I oculd express her story best in writing. hope you all like it
