Jealous
Jealousy has taken over me
Like a football team at an all-you-can-eat buffet
It devours at my mind
Refuses to let me go through the day
Plants its weed-like seeds of envy
Into every inch of body it can find
Desiring, malicious, begrudging, covetous
I can feel its green, green eyes bore into me from behind
Struggle as I may
Its hold is too deep
Will not grant the freedom I seek
